ABOUT THE COMPANY
For over 25 years, Enerco has provided America’s contractors with high quality heating products sold through an exclusive distributor network!
Enerco began as the Infrared Division of the Van Dorn Corporation, a major manufacturer of extrusion equipment for the plastic industry. In the 1970’s Allen Haire was an outside representative selling Enerco’s high quality radiant heaters. Allen developed a passionate vision for the future of Enerco, and in 1982 Al and his partners bought the business, which they still own today.
Over the next 20 years, Enerco increased its design expertise and expanded its product offerings. The company became a leader in radiant heating systems for factories and warehouses. As energy costs climbed the efficiency of infrared heating led engineers and contractors to recommend it in a growing number of applications. For new construction, retrofitting and renovation, Enerco became the “go-to” supplier of ready-to-install infrared heating equipment. Enerco also gained a special reputation by developing custom designed infrared burner systems for unusual applications such as stress relieving, drying and the rail car thawing.
In 2002 the company introduced a line of “HeatStar by Enerco” portable heaters for the construction industry. For personal comfort and material curing at the job site, nothing beats HeatStar’s forced air kerosene, forced air propane, radiant propane, and indirect kerosene / diesel heaters. With heating capacities from 25,000 to 700,000 BTU’s per hour, this line quickly earned its own reputation in the construction, drywall, painting, concrete, and restoration trades.
Enerco also has become the industry standard for customer support and unwavering integrity. Every customer phone call and e-mail is answered by a trained employee, ready to find the right product or other solution.
Today more than 100 people work in our modern headquarters facility in Cleveland, Ohio. This 150,000 square foot facility is our primary manufacturing and distribution center, and also houses our engineering and quality departments.
When you or your customers need quality heating solutions, contact Enerco for the products and support you need to be successful. For each phase of your building construction project, Heatstar by Enerco has the heating solutions you need.
